Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes...

"How do you measure, measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee. In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife."

Mike took me out for a special evening to see RENT at the Pantages Theater. It was my first time seeing the show! And, it rocked. And, we cried. And, it rocked some more.

We were so lucky to get two of the original cast members too!

Anthony Rapp!

And, Adam Pascal!

A big thanks to Michael for making sure that I didn't pay-per-view the show before seeing it live. Well worth the wait! :)

Pippin

The girls (Lisa, Sophie and 'lil ole me!) went to the Mark Taper theatre for Bob Fosse's revamped, "Pippin".

It was an interesting show to say the least. They mixed the already racy show up by casting the lead roles with deaf actors, and their counterparts (who lurked in the shadows) spoke and sang for them.

The show portrayed sign language in a completely new light, which was refreshing and therefore a special treat for those who live their lives without sound. All in all, I thought it was provacative and moving... but certainly not a favorite.

Minsky's

The three of us (Lisa, Sophie and yours truly) went to see Minsky's last night at the Ahmanson.

1930's Burlesque at its best!

Wowza...

I had a great time with the ladies, but wasn't a huge fan of the show. It was fun, comical and very sexy for sure - but we didn't get out until super *late*!
